Photography is an art of representation; an artifact of our lives.
My experience includes over 20 years of work. I have studied every facet of photographing the human form. This includes Fine Art, documentary, theatrical, portrait, traditional headshot, biological, Antropological, Archeological, traditional wedding, contemporary wedding, modern/documentary wedding, action, still life, erotic, and event freelance.
I have worked with brides, prenatal women, women in labor, mothers, grandmothers, babies, teens, actors, dancers, governors, soldiers leaving for war, priests, athletes, organic farmers, nudes, grooms, fathers, grandfathers, chefs, accountants, journalists, artists, models, fire performers, politicians, publishers, graphic designers, interior designers, doctors, psychologists, doulas, mid-wives, religious leaders, teachers, the sick, the homeless, their memories and a multitute of gallery owners; and still I am learning.
My work represents a mulit-cultural, multi-generational presence. I learned at an early age with a 35mm and a darkroom. I now use a high quality digital set up. I shoot, process and print. I consider this my art and I like to see the whole process through. I work in both a commercial and studio arena. I have captured over 250 weddings and over 500 portraits of artists, performers, families, pregnancies, children, and much much more.... My art grows daily and I love what I do.
